TURMERIC MASALA SCALLOPS

Serves: 3 to 4 scallops per person.

This must be the easiest and most delicious way to use The Spirit Of Spice Turmeric Masala - paired with scallops in the half shell and just a little butter for extra sweetness, this is a sprinkle and a two-minute burst of scallop under a hit grill. No effort. Maximum taste.

INGREDIENTS

  • scallops in the half shell
  • a little butter
  • Turmeric Masala

  1. Heat the oven to 180 degrees fan forced with the grill function on high.

  2. Place the half shell scallops on a baking tray. For an entree or as part of a seafood spread I’d suggest 3 to 4 scallops per person.

  3. Dab each scallop with a small pinch of unsalted butter and sprinkle with a little Turmeric Masala.

  4. Place under the grill until the scallops are just kissed and slightly browned - around two minutes. Serve in the half shell.
