TURMERIC MASALA FRIED EGGS

Serves: One person per egg.

Prep Time: 2 minutes.

Cooking Time: 5 minutes.

Dietary Style: GF. Veg.

DF / Vegan Sub: Omit butter. Tofu.

There is no easier way to get turmeric into your daily diet than to use this masala on your breakfast eggs. Serious flavour. Serious health benefits. Seriously easy. It is without doubt my favourite breakfast go-to when I know that I’m going to need a little help getting through the day.

INGREDIENTS

  • eggs
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Turmeric Masala

  1. In a small pan, heat the butter and oil. Add 1 tsp of The Spirit Of Spice Turmeric Masala per egg. What until the spice and the fats are aromatic and bubbling. Crack in your egg and cook to your desired consistency.

  2. If making scrambled eggs, use the same method, scrambling the eggs in the spice and fats.

  3. If making an omelette, scramble the Turmeric Masala in the omelette mix before tipping into the fats to cook.
