WHAT IS BESAN FLOUR
Besan flour is such a great staple in the cupboard. Besan flour is made from chickpea which means that it has an interesting texture, a nutty taste, and it’s gluten free. I love besan flour to make quick and easy batters that give extra taste and crunch to that which they coat: try making these sweet potato pakoras, or adding some salt and cumin seed to the flour and then egging and coating chicken tenders to roast for an easy dinner with salad.
