Two ingredients. This is spice 101. Turmeric milk. Haldi doodh. Almost every Indian child’s introduction to spice, and a “dish” that can help you train your child’s palate to understand more complex flavour. This is a starting point. Soft on the mouth. Soft on the body. A drink to carry with you until the end.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2/3 tsp turmeric powder

  1. In a small pot combine the milk and turmeric powder. Heat on a low heat until just warm.

  2. Drink.
