These spiced kale chips are so easy and quick to make, they’re delicious, and the spicing can be adjusted to suit what you have in your spice pantry. I love them as the base of a salad topped with nuts and pomegranate seeds. Or even just eaten as a delicious snack.
INGREDIENTS
- half a head of kale
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1.5 sp coconut oil
- 1 tsp white salt
- .5 tsp fenugreek powder
- 1 tsp sumac
- 1 tsp amchur
- .5 tsp ground red chilli
- 1 tsp fennel seed
Turn the oven to 180 degrees fan forced.
Roughly chop the kale and place half of the head in a baking tray.
In the baking tray with the kale put both oils and all of the spices. Massage the oil and the spice into the kale with your hands.
Pop the baking tray of spiced kale into the hot oven and cook for around 10 minutes or until crispy.
